A grimy glass oven door will stop getting a clear view into your oven.
Use a glass scraper, sponge or microfibre cleaning cloth to remove baked on foods.
Hob Brite comes with a glass scraper and works well on the oven glass as well as the top
Don't use harsh scourers such as wire wool, which may introduce miniscule scratches onto the glass, and weaken it. You may be able to remove the glass part of the door for soaking, which will allow you to reach the area between the inner and outer pieces of glass that make up the door, where grease can also accumulate. Check your instruction manual for guidance on how to do this.
Some chemical oven cleaners are suitable for use on glass, but don't use caustic-based oven cleaner, which will damage it.

Can I really use Baking Soda to Clean the Oven?
Yes. We have found that Baking Soda will make light work of removing grease and grime from your oven.
To get started with your homemade oven cleaner, mix up 1/2 a cup of baking soda with water to form a paste. Spread the paste all over the bottom of your oven (avoiding the heating elements). Use a tooth brush or old kitchen brush ( nothing scratchy ) to work the Baking Soda into the grime. And then leave it to do its work..
Allow Enough Time
Always make sure you allow enough time to clean your oven and let any cleaning products do their work. Always follow the instructions to avoid damage to the oven and yourself, and be sure to keep children and animals away.
Allowing cleaning products such as Baking soda to work overnight can improve results, and you also need to make sure to give your oven a final washdown after all cleaning is finished and dried, so remove any residue.
Cleaning the Hob or Stove Top
Whilst you're at it, you may as well give the oven top a quick clean.
Use Hob Bright by applying the cream to the class top, smear it around with a damp cloth and watch it remove most burnt on grime.
Use the scraper to lift stubborn parts, and hobs are generally much worse where they are hottest, so this often needs some help from the scraper.
Repeat as necessary and following the instructions on the bottle the hob will look like new.
